As a non-profit, budgets are always tight. During the pandemic, more than ever.
Donating online or by mail will help our dedicated staff provide the best and safest care for all.
Thank you to all who have sent cards and words of encouragement! They mean so much. Your support is particularly appreciated as our professional staff lovingly cares for residents during this challenging time.
Thank you to First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Poughkeepsie and St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Pleasant Valley for the beautiful Easter Lilies and Spring plants - they brought joy to many!
It is with deep gratitude that we acknowledge grants from the Dutchess Responds Fund of the Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley, Thrivent, Ulster Savings Charitable Foundation and United Way of Dutchess. These funds have purchased PPE (personal protective equipment) that is helping keep our residents and staff safe, covered costs for additional staff and offset some income lost to cancelled programs. Poughkeepsie Elks Lodge No. 275 has provided a generous grant for iPad technology which will allow our residents and loved ones to video visit with one another. These iPads will also be used when Rehab residents are being discharged - teaching family members and caregivers how to successfully continue therapy at home.
A huge shout out to HVAMC (Hudson Valley Advance Manufacturing Center) at SUNY New Paltz and Rachel Eisgruber, a current engineering student intern, for producing and donating 200 3D-printed face shields to help staff and residents fight COVID-19!
Food deliveries for staff - fruit and platters, wraps, pizza & Gatorade, Danish/donuts/bagels/coffee - your thoughtfulness lifts our spirits. Thanks to Adams Fairacre Farms, Stop & Shop, the Arlington Fire Station and the Dunkin' Donuts (Manager Jennifer Defabio) of our neighborhood Dunkin' Donuts on Dutchess Turnpike!
We appreciate the hand-sewn cloth masks donated by Amy Markland via the Tieks Family #SewTOGETHERChallenge!
Our appreciation goes to Village Lutheran Church, Bronxville and the Atlantic District-LCMS for gifts- in- kind and funding for our Memory Care Program.
Prayer Shawls, lovingly crocheted by the Heart & Soul Prayer Ministry of Our Savior Lutheran Church, Fishkill, wrap many of our residents in the love, prayers and warmth of those who have dedicated themselves to this caring connection.
